My most recent play, Root River Anthology Part One & Part Two focuses on the stories in rural Southeastern Minnesota following an epic flood. In order to process their grief and make connections, community members use the local telephone booth that washed up in one of the local farmer's fields.
As I craft Part 3, the materials are focused on the surge of awareness following the murder of George Floyd and the racism that is so deeply embedded in us all.
These are new and original monologues written by theater artists from across the U.S., with video montages curated by me (Catherine Glynn.)
I invite YOU to add your voice to the mix. Let's flood the world with GREATER UNDERSTANDING & LOVE.
